He would have been getting cabin fever if it weren’t for the fact he didn’t really mind all the sleeping and taking care of he had since he got sick. ( Of course he wasn’t up and doing things yet but it at least didn’t sound like he swallowed glass anymore. )

[An afflicted grunt followed by deep, labored breaths. The eerie quietness indicates something not of the norm. Wind wails and dead trees creakily sway in the sound of emptiness, the sound of death.]

[Then suddenly, a long gasp accompanied with quick shuffling and a thwack. -- There’s panic in the quick resonant breaths in-between;]
